Get to Redang island by bus
Via Shahbandar jetty1- Go to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) bus terminal
2- Buy a bus ticket route to Kuala Terengganu bus terminal (about RM45 per way and about 6 hour journey).
3- From Kuala Terenganu bus terminal walk about 10 minutes to the Shahbandar jetty
4- Buy a ferry ticket to Redang island. For the return ticket to the Redang island, the fare is about RM110 (adult) and RM60 (child). It takes about 1 hour 30 minutes journey.
Via Merang jetty
1- Go to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) bus terminal
2- Buy a bus ticket route to Kuala Terengganu bus terminal
3- From Kuala Terenganu bus terminal take local bas to Kuala Besut. Drop-off opposite to the Merang Shell petrol station. The journey take about 1 hour.
4- From Shell petrol station walk about 5 minutes to the Merang jetty
4- Buy a ferry ticket to Redang island. For the return ticket to the Redang island, the fare is about RM100 (adult)

Via Shahbandar jetty1- Buy a flight ticket route from KLIA/KLIA2 to Sultan Mahmud airport (about 45 minutes flight)
2- Take a taxi to Shanbandar jetty (about 30-45 minutes)
